This project involved working with Landscape Architect, Brusseau Design Group to design a semi-circular fishing pier to be part of an expansion of Lake Park for the Des Plaines Park District. The fishing pier was designed to be low maintenance using pressure treated lumber for the structure with a composite decking and railing system. Accessibility was addressed by using concrete to connect the pier at the same level as the asphalt path, and by staggering the height of the railing to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
